I am filled with much gratitude this Easter day and Passover weekend. On the road with my amazing band having just done the first three shows of a three week tour.
The turn outs have been great and I am especially happy to have connected with students and staff of the Seita Scholars Program in Kalamazoo, MI This is a remarkable program at WMU in Kalamazoo for Alumni. How excellent!
We had a short meet and greet after soundcheck. Then back to hotel to get ready for the show. I believe a grand time was had by all. I’m am so happy to have met more of my little brothers and sisters. Especially of course fellow Michiganders…; )
I am profoundly aware of the long and winding road I have traveled to get to a place of joy and peace in my life. SO very glad I did not give in or give up. Incredibly grateful to stand as a Spokesperson for National Foster Care Month and as Ambassador for Foster Care Alumni of America. Two remarkable opportunities to try and stand as a light in the window for those of us still on the road in this amazing journey. Turns out there is great strenghth in numbers… I love my life… How cool is that?
Next stop on this tour… The Zoo Bar in Lincoln, NE for a Tuesday night show…. Hope we see u there!
